TOO MANY JAWBONES

Well, like so many others we’re holed up doing our best to stay focused and creative. It’s a DIY world around this house these days and that may or may not be a good thing? While our wonderful neighbors brought home a brand new baby boy this week, Suchi and I have been birthing a song about too much verbiage these days in the form of TOO MANY JAWBONES. You’ll see & hear what I’m talking about in the live video for the song.  Did I say LIVE video? Yes, yet another adventure into the unknown that’s starts with, “Hey, let’s take the gear downstairs and do a live video for this song!”  Then the reality …“What gear?”  This process is not for the faint of heart. Feels like back in the day when we kids went out in the backyard and “created” all kinds of worlds (mainly in our heads) with a minimum of props (aka, sticks, boxes, etc). All good fun then and honestly good fun all these years later too.  I sure appreciate Suchi’s due diligence & creative ability to put all the pieces together so we can share it with you. (Not an easy assignment! )  Hope you enjoy it in the spirit with which it was made.  ….Tom B

As we prepare for Halloween, Election Day, Pandemic Perseverance, and Global Survival, TOO MANY JAWBONES is a song that expresses with “tongue in cheek” the visceral & verbal challenges we are all literally facing in one way or another. I am grateful to Tom, my favorite songwriter, for being able to humorously articulate & creatively capture the essence of this message in song.
